The power of a medium-duty truck like the GMC Sierra 1500 is enough for most owners. When you need a truck that can take on more demanding jobs, you’ll need to step up to a heavy-duty truck like the 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD. This full-size model has the muscle you need to tow and haul heavy payloads and push through the most challenging off-road trails. While the Sierra 2500HD has all the brawn you’ll need, it also provides the comfort to ensure passengers stay relaxed. The top-level Denali trim takes upscale sophistication to the next level. According to the GMC dealership near Salinas, customers also like the GMC Sierra 2500HD’s built-in steps and wide cargo beds.
The Sierra 2500HD’s available MultiPro tailgate can be arranged in many ways, including as a towing aid, a step and a work desk. The Sierra 2500 HD’s blend of dependability, capability, performance and comfort make it an obvious choice at dealers like the GMC dealership serving Salinas.
New features for 2021 include a jack-knife alert and a trailer-length indicator that makes it easier to change lanes with a trailer in tow. The upper Denali trim level now has a high-definition 360-degree camera and an available Diamond Edition that adds black 20-inch wheels and power-retractable running boards. The AT4 trim gets optional mud-terrain tires and a high-clearance step.
The GMC Sierra 2500hD has long been a favorite of drivers, as well as the automotive media. Edmunds writes:
“The Sierra 2500HD heads into 2021 with a handful of additional improvements.... On the whole, the Sierra 2500HD is a capable truck. The cab is roomy and comfortable, the bed is deep and useful (especially with the available MultiPro tailgate), and GMC provides helpful built-in steps to access the cargo area.”
Buyers can get the 2021 GMC Sierra 2500HD in one of five trim levels: base, SLE, SLT, AT4 and Denali. There are two bed sizes on offer: a standard 6.8-foot bed and a long 8.2-feet bed.
